Recurring Competitions

All competitions are held in-person or online (read description). Their location and timeframe will be in their respective descriptions. Subject-specific competitions will be detailed on their individual pages

To sign up for a competition, fill out the respective competition form below, it will only take around 1-3 minutes. You will receive a confirmation email after we review the response.

Rocky Mountain Junior Science Contest

- The RMJSC is an annual in-person science contest hosted for students in junior high and below. 
- Students participate in teams of 3 through three rounds that inspire them to think creatively and critically apply their problem-solving skills.

Summit STEM Triathlon

- The SST is an annual in-person science contest hosted for students in junior high and below. 
- Entry-level contest combining the disciplines of physics, informatics [i.e. computer science] and contest math to grant exposure to these fields to high-school students.
- Teams of two students will participate in challenge rounds which test their understanding of concepts in mathematics, physics and coding as well as their ability to apply these concepts. In addition, a workshop conducted by the top high school students in Calgary will be held to further the students’ theoretical understanding of mathematics, physics, and coding, and educate students about real-world applications of STEM topics.
